Can we sync staff automatically from Microsoft Entra ID?
Yes. CardOffice integrates with Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace and Okta using OpenID Connect and SCIM. New employees are added automatically, role changes update their card record, and de-provisioned users lose card validity instantly.
Can cards encode building turnstiles and lift access?
Yes. Physical cards can be encoded with MIFARE Classic, DESFire EV2/EV3 or proximity formats on supported desk printers or pre-encoded by our central bureau, compatible with standard commercial access control systems.
Do we need to buy an ID card printer?
No. You can order printed cards directly through the portal with no ongoing software subscription, delivered by tracked courier. If you prefer same-day issuance at reception, you can use your own printer or we can supply one.
Can hybrid workers use smartphone wallet passes instead of plastic cards?
Yes. Staff can receive Apple Wallet and Google Wallet credentials on their phone, complete with live QR codes and barcode verification, eliminating plastic card costs for remote or occasional office visitors.
