Privacy statement
This statement covers the CardOffice website — the pages at cardoffice.nz. It is short because the site does little with your information: one form, ordinary server logs, and nothing else. Dated 18 August 2026.
Who we are
CardOffice is operated by SecureID. For anything in this statement, contact us at office@secureid.nz or 021 539 599, or write to 233 Coast Road, Warrington, Dunedin 9471, New Zealand.
What this site collects
Two things, and only these two:
- What you type into the consultation form — your name, role, organisation, email address, phone number, sector, approximate card volume, and your message. Nothing on the form is collected without you typing it.
- Ordinary web server access logs — the standard record every web server keeps of requests it receives, such as the address the request came from, the page asked for, and when.
That is the whole list. The site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no tracking cookies — in fact it sets no cookies at all. There is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss, because there is nothing behind one.
Why we collect it
The consultation form says, next to the button: “We use your details only to respond to this enquiry.” That is the whole purpose. We do not add you to a mailing list, use your details to build a profile, or pass them to anyone else — the one exception being where the law requires us to disclose information, which nothing about an enquiry form makes likely. Server logs are used for the ordinary running of the site — keeping it up and spotting faults or abuse.
Where it is held
Enquiry details are stored on systems in New Zealand. Email correspondence passes through our email provider, as ordinary email does.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up from it, and is then deleted.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email office@secureid.nz and we will deal with it — given how little this site collects, that is usually a short conversation.
If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first and give us the chance to put it right. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
If your organisation uses the CardOffice platform
This statement is about the website only. Personal information processed inside the CardOffice platform — cardholder records, photographs, and everything else an institution issues cards from — is governed by that customer's agreement with us and our Data Processing Agreement, not by this page. How the platform itself is run is set out on the security & procurement page.
Ask us in person
If anything here is unclear, email us and a person will answer. And if you are ready to talk about cards, the details you send will be used exactly as this page describes — to respond to you, and for nothing else.
