Expiry is set for each person, and a contractor's card can use its own design, so it looks different from a permanent staff card at a glance.
When somebody leaves
Revoke the card, the digital ID, or both. Anyone can check a card by scanning its QR code or opening its link, and a revoked one says so straight away.

Frequently asked
We only have thirty staff. Is this more than we need?
No. On the bureau-only plan there is no subscription and no minimum order, so you pay for the cards you order and nothing else. You still get the portal for your people, their photos and your card design.
Do we need to buy a card printer?
No. We can print your cards at our site and courier them to you. If you would rather hand a card over the same day, you can print on a card printer you already own, or we can supply one with its ribbons and card stock.
What does it cost?
Both prices are published on the pricing page. A card we print and deliver is priced per card by the size of the order, with no subscription. Printing your own is a yearly subscription by the number of people you manage, with no charge per card.
How do staff get their photo taken?
Email them a link and they take it on their own phone, with no app, account or password. Or take it yourself at a desk, on a phone or on an iPad. Every photo is checked against the portrait rules before it can go on a card.
What happens when somebody leaves?
Revoke their card, their digital ID, or both. A revoked digital ID is struck through on their phone and a revoked card stops verifying, even if the plastic is never handed back. Their record stays for your audit trail.
Can the cards open our doors?
Cards you print yourself can be encoded for your access control system at an encoding station on your site, which is set up and quoted for your system. Cards we print for you at our site are not encoded for door access.
